Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be involved in designing and implementing trading strategies focused on cryptocurrency options. You will be responsible for developing systems that facilitate trading across various cryptocurrency exchanges. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Creating and enhancing options market making strategies to maximize profitability while managing risks and market obligations.
- Developing and enhancing systems for automated monitoring of round-the-clock trading activities.
- Building C++ and Python applications that utilize proprietary interfaces for market data and order execution.
- Collaborating with different teams to enhance existing systems and develop new ones.
- Monitoring trading performance and ensuring that systems meet technical, risk, and profit requirements.
- Leveraging your options trading expertise to suggest improvements to technical systems and architecture.
- Participating in system design discussions, code reviews, and collaborative trading idea sessions.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in developing high-performance trading strategies for market making in traditional or cryptocurrency markets.
- Proficiency in options market making, with a good understanding of managing options portfolios.
- Minimum of three years of experience in writing clean, efficient C++ code on Linux platforms.
- Experience working with latency-optimized distributed systems handling high transaction loads.
- Ability to balance delivering high-quality code with rapid deployment of new features to capitalize on market opportunities.
- Reliable and committed to delivering reliable software while being available for system support.
Highly Desirable:
- In-depth knowledge of network programming, including UDP, TCP, TLS, and Websockets.
- Experience in profiling C++ code using tools like Cachegrind or Valgrind.
- Proficiency in configuring and monitoring Linux environments.
- Familiarity with inter-process messaging through shared memory.
- Experience with cloud computing services such as AWS.
