About the Role:

Join Limit Break as a skilled backend systems software engineer within the Core Services team. As a senior team member, you will play a key role in shaping engineering practices, fostering a customer-centric culture, and driving innovation in blockchain technology.

Responsibilities:

Architect, develop, and manage high-performance backend services for real-time online applications with a focus on security and scalability

Write clean, reusable, and test-driven production code

Define and advocate for best practices, processes, and API design for backend applications

Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into actionable items and readily prototype new ideas

Identify and implement new technologies, tools, and techniques to enhance workflow efficiency

Provide mentorship and guidance to other engineers as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in backend/server-side development for high-scale services

Proficiency in technologies like GO, Node.js, Python, or C#

Familiarity with relational databases, Unix networking, Docker, and containerization

Proven initiative, ownership mindset, and ability to tackle tasks proactively

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native application development

Sound knowledge of web application development trends and best practices

Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships with gaming studios interested in leveraging Arbitrum's technology.

Conduct business development outreach to onboard gaming studios to the Arbitrum ecosystem.

Engage with gaming studios regularly through various communication channels.

Aid gaming studios in transitioning to Arbitrum and/or deploying on the network.

Spearhead new initiatives within the partnerships team to enhance Arbitrum's presence in the gaming sector.

Keep abreast of emerging trends in gaming and understand the role of on-chain gaming assets in business growth.

Relay product updates to different stakeholders and contribute to the product strategy based on external feedback.

Requirements:

In compliance with New York City's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position if based in NYC is USD 170,000 to USD 195,000.
