Impact

Responsibilities
Financial Analysis
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and evaluating market trends
- Collaborate with executives and senior management to fulfill their financial analysis requirements
- Partner with the Product team to assess new products and initiatives
- Create and maintain comprehensive financial models to facilitate strategic decision-making and capital allocation
- Assess key financial metrics such as trading volumes, transaction costs, liquidity management, and revenue streams to identify areas for optimization and growth
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry developments to evaluate their potential impact on FalconX's financial operations
Financial Planning and Budgeting
- Lead the budgeting process in close collaboration with department heads and senior management to align financial goals with strategic objectives
- Develop long-term financial plans and forecasts, considering factors such as market conditions, product development initiatives, and revenue projections
- Provide guidance and support in developing departmental budgets, while monitoring expenses against budgeted targets
- Periodically review budgets, identify areas of concern, and recommend corrective actions to ensure financial objectives are met
Financial Reporting and Presentations
- Prepare accurate and insightful financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, for internal stakeholders and senior management
- Present financial analysis findings and reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommending strategies to optimize financial performance
- Establish and maintain standardized reporting templates and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent reporting and alignment of financial information
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and budgeting, preferably in financial technology, crypto, DeFi, Web3, or related sectors, with exposure to a managerial role
- Approximately 10 years of professional work experience, ideally including experience in investment banking or management consulting
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing scalable FP&A processes
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and forecasting techniques
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with great attention to detail
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner

The base pay for this role is expected to range between $175,000 and $215,000 USD. This expectation is based on information at the time of posting. In addition to base pay, this role will be eligible for performance-linked bonuses, equity, and a competitive benefits package. The final compensation for a successful candidate will be determined based on factors such as skillset, experience, and qualifications.

We are in search of an experienced and forward-thinking individual to lead our recently launched Incubator Division. The ideal candidate will have a successful background in venture capital, technology leadership, or executive management. As the Head of Incubator, you will drive our incubation program's growth, identify and nurture promising blockchain projects, and offer strategic guidance for their success. If you have a deep understanding of the blockchain ecosystem, especially Ethereum, Starknet, and DeFi, along with a proven ability to recognize and develop high-potential startups, we are interested in hearing from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct the Nethermind incubators program by selecting and supporting visionary founders aiming to establish thriving blockchain companies.
Provide each incubation team with guidance, budget management resources, and comprehensive support from various Nethermind departments.
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and transforms ideas into tangible solutions.
Engage with internal and external partners, such as VCs and legal and finance teams, to ensure the effective functioning of the incubator initiative.
Continuously analyze the industry landscape to identify new opportunities and forge strategic partnerships that benefit both the incubator program and its ventures.
Required Skills:
In-depth knowledge of the blockchain domain, particularly Ethereum, Starknet, and DeFi.
Experience in identifying and nurturing high-potential startups, preferably within the technology or blockchain sectors.
Proficiency in project management, capable of managing budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently.
Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, capable of motivating teams towards accomplishments.
Desired Skills:
Entrepreneurial background: Direct experience in establishing, growing, or exiting a successful startup, especially within blockchain or tech sectors.
