We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team focusing on enhancing our current data pipelines. As a key member of Kronos, you will gain insights into the crucial role data plays in the field of quantitative trading. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in developing large-scale systems and data processing pipelines using both cloud-based and on-premise technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, construct, and manage domain-specific data pipelines and data warehouses, with a focus on optimizing existing pipelines.
  • Create solutions for efficient integration of data from third-party vendors and private endpoints into our data inventory.
  • Deploy and oversee the daily operations of market data loggers, ensuring secure and efficient data storage across various platforms (S3/NAS/DFS).
  • Collaborate closely with the Infrastructure team and quantitative researchers to address data requirements, establishing and maintaining data pipelines for machine learning research and simulations.
  • Develop tools and interfaces to enhance the quality, integrity, and accessibility of our data resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities focused on solving complex data engineering challenges.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable cloud-native software solutions, leveraging cloud technologies for data storage, processing, and analysis.
