Primary Purpose of Hiring an User Acquisition Manager:

The role of User Acquisition Manager is crucial for acquiring new security researchers (SRs) who can consistently identify valid vulnerabilities in projects hosted on Immunefi's web3 bug bounty platform.

At a high level, the core objectives of this role include:

Brainstorming innovative initiatives and activation plans independently to attract SRs.

Skillfully implementing these initiatives, as well as strategies provided by the team manager.

Crafting a seamless onboarding experience for SRs on Immunefi.

Generating engaging content about Immunefi for acquisition and promotional purposes.

Continuously networking and fostering relationships with SRs.

The scope of this role is varied and flexible, such as forming partnerships with universities or organizations where SRs congregate, orchestrating the Security Researcher Ambassador Program to incentivize SRs to bring in new researchers, engaging on platforms like Twitter and podcasts to promote Immunefi, attending conferences to recruit SRs, collaborating with external contractors to create educational platforms for smoother onboarding, and more.

Key to Success in this Role:

Success in this position hinges on possessing user acquisition skills geared for a longer user acquisition/conversion cycle. Understanding the web2 and web3 security communities is imperative. Knowledge of where SRs typically gather, the types of SRs sought, how to fulfill their needs, and how to entice them to the platform for submitting quality bug reports to projects is essential. This requires creativity, adaptability, swift execution, result monitoring, and the propensity to pivot if needed.

Efficiently engaging with SRs and conveying information clearly while adhering to Immunefi's core values and broader objectives that align with the web3 ecosystem, encompassing security, safety, and trust for both users and projects, are paramount.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Strategy:

Formulate and implement a strategic plan to attract high-caliber SRs specializing in software vulnerabilities.

Design, execute, and evaluate acquisition initiatives independently.

Optimize successful models and scale them.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in the web2 and web3 security sphere to identify potential talents.

Sourcing and Networking:

Proactively identify and establish relationships with web2 and web3 SRs through various channels like events, conferences, and online platforms.

Collaborate with internal and external networks to recruit top talent.

Coordinate with the marketing team to optimize sourcing channel effectiveness.

Candidate/Cluster Assessment:

Conduct thorough evaluations of SR clusters and individuals to discern their technical expertise, research abilities, and track record in identifying software vulnerabilities.

Integration Planning:

Devise onboarding and integration plans to smoothly integrate new SRs into Immunefi through educational components and other means.

Collaboration with Team:

Harmonize acquisition strategies with the organization's broader security objectives.

Regularly update progress on acquisition efforts and identify enhancement opportunities.

Requirements

Proficiency in English at a native speaker level.

Experience working within or for DAOs is advantageous.

Prior involvement in the cybersecurity realm, particularly with hackers/SRs.

Experience in a User Acquisition Manager role or similar position.

Passion for Blockchain, Crypto, Web3, DeFi, and eagerness to contribute to this innovative domain.

Strong technical background to organize in-person or online CTF events.

Role Responsibilities

Oversee brand identity and maintain consistency across all branding touchpoints, encompassing digital and print materials, marketing assets, video content, and presentations.

Demonstrate proficiency in creating visuals for digital branding assets, performance marketing, printed materials, and offline event assets.
