Who We're Looking For

ChainSafe is seeking a proficient senior engineering manager with robust knowledge of blockchain protocols and a keen interest in Web3 ecosystems to oversee the management and growth of the protocol program.

**Role **

• Lead and manage protocol teams, oversee hiring processes, and institute best practices
• Offer technical leadership on architecture and development methods
• Strategize and direct quarterly goals in line with business objectives
• Foster a positive work environment where everyone is valued, empowered, and has a work-life balance
• Manage stakeholder communications, expectations, and relationships
• Engage with clients, partners, and the broader community across various ecosystems
• Stay updated on industry trends and share insights with the teams

Prerequisites for Applicants

• At least 5 years of software development experience with demonstrated team management skills
• A minimum of 2 years of web3 experience and solid technical understanding of web3 technologies
• Strong communication and leadership qualities
• People management skills with a servant leader mindset
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency in Go, Rust, or TypeScript

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with open-source software
• Previous involvement in managing remote teams

Recruitment Process

• Shortlisted candidates will undertake a 30-minute screening call with a tech recruiter
• Following that, candidates will engage in a 60-minute alignment interview
• Finally, candidates will partake in a 60-minute technical interview
