About the Role

We are in search of an established DevOps Engineer or SRE with a passion for excellence in blockchain technology. As the Lead DevOps Engineer at Figment, you will play a crucial role in leading and enhancing our DevOps initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the deployment and management of blockchain nodes on a large scale
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions for enhanced system performance and availability
  • Take the lead in troubleshooting complex issues across different environments and performing root cause analysis
  • Establish and manage robust automation frameworks and configuration strategies
  • Champion high availability and scalability solutions, ensuring uninterrupted operation under varying conditions
  • Participate in on-call rotations and offer support for production systems
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to promote continuous learning and growth

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or SRE, with a track record of successfully managing scalable infrastructures
  • Advanced proficiency in system engineering and automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes
  • Extensive experience in supporting Linux servers in large, highly secure, and 24/7 available environments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve server, network, and application-related issues
  • Experience optimizing system performance by adjusting key OS and application settings
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively in remote or distributed team settings
