About the Role
Serving under the Legal and Compliance department, this role involves crafting detailed due diligence reports on tokens from various ecosystems. These reports are crucial for determining whether these tokens should be listed on our exchanges worldwide. Duties include conducting screenings for Politically Exposed Persons and sanctions, investigating smart contracts, evaluating levels of decentralization, and analyzing protocol tokenomics. Additionally, you will offer specialized technical insights to support the Legal, Risk, and Listing teams and play a key role in sculpting the team's direction and future.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly researching and analyzing information to create comprehensive due diligence reports for the Legal and Compliance Division.
- Examining data from network nodes and market resources, reviewing smart contracts, identifying vulnerabilities, and scrutinizing token economics.
- Developing frameworks and procedures to track changes in supported ecosystems and protocols proactively, such as governance proposals and upgrades.
- Independently handling research requests, providing recommendations to senior management, and sharing knowledge organization-wide.
- Collaborating with teams to enhance oversight and offer advisory services on analytical issues to various business units.
Qualifications
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background.
- Previous experience in technical roles related to development, analysis, data science, or research.
- Proficient in digital assets, blockchain technology, smart contracts, decentralized applications, governance models, and industry trends.
- Superior analytical and critical thinking skills with a talent for problem-solving and effective communication.
- Demonstrated expertise in market research, data analysis, and report writing, particularly in the blockchain or tech domains.
- Exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, the ability to work swiftly at high standards, and a dedication to sharing knowledge.
- Passion for on-chain research and experience with smart contract development, web scraping, API data extraction, UI development, and using blockchain data providers.
- Proficient in Python, Solidity, SQL, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

- Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks and ease in interpreting legislative and regulatory texts.
