About the Role

The Solution Architect for Capital Markets at Chainlink Labs plays a key role in driving the adoption of Chainlink products within the capital markets sector. This position involves working closely with Sales and Marketing teams to promote Chainlink technology, collaborating with major institutions to gather requirements and deliver innovative solutions, and contributing significantly to the development of Chainlink's capital markets product strategy. The Solution Architect utilizes deep expertise in the Chainlink product suite and technical pre/post-sales experience to establish relationships with stakeholders, deliver client projects/proofs of concept, and position Chainlink as the preferred choice for decentralized oracle solutions in the finance industry.

Objectives of this Role

  • Drive the successful adoption of Chainlink products within the capital markets industry by building strong relationships with key stakeholders, especially major financial institutions, and providing technical expertise throughout the sales and implementation processes.
  • Lead the process of gathering requirements, scoping projects, and designing innovative solutions that utilize Chainlink products to address specific challenges within the capital markets industry.
  • Make a significant contribution to delivering at least three client projects/proofs of concept (POCs).
  • Contribute significantly to the development of Chainlink's capital markets product strategy by offering insights, market feedback, and technical expertise to shape the product suite's direction and roadmap
  • Collaborate closely with internal technical teams to provide guidance on product enhancements, bug fixes, and new feature development to meet capital markets requirements effectively.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the capital markets industry to effectively position and promote Chainlink products.

Qualifications

  • Experience in technical pre/post-sales technology, working with major institutions in the capital markets and broader financial industry.
  • Strong knowledge of blockchain technology and related areas such as DeFi, digital assets/tokenization, and digital identity, along with hands-on experience in middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services technologies, and APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability in building and delivering Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and addressing functional and technical aspects of proposals independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with programming languages like Solidity, Golang, Rust, JS, Java, Python, C/C++.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols, private IP environments, cloud infrastructure, and SSL/TLS security.
  • Knowledge of capital markets concepts, financial instruments, trading processes, private/permissioned blockchain technologies like Hyperledger Fabric, R3 Corda, and trading platforms, order management systems, payment systems.
  • Understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards like MiFID II, Dodd-Frank.
