The NEAR Foundation seeks to hire a Technical Product Lead who will report to the Head of Product. As a Technical Product Lead, your primary role will involve serving as a key advisor and contributor across various product work streams within the NEAR ecosystem. The ideal candidate should possess a robust technical background, exceptional product management skills, and the capability to offer strategic guidance to the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the technical aspects of product development which includes defining technical requirements, architecture, and implementation strategies.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance by diagnosing root issues and proposing solutions.
  • Driving product initiatives by collaborating cross-functionally with nodes in the NEAR ecosystem to establish roadmaps for successful execution.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and technologies to recommend innovative solutions and enhancements to our products.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on technical matters, providing insights and recommendations to overcome challenges and leverage opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of technical product management experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of establishing technical strategies for large and complex organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for non-technical audiences and articulate strategies to a technical audience.
  • Substantial technical background with knowledge and experience in the web3 and blockchain industry (experience with NEAR or AI will be a bonus).
  • Demonstrated ability to ask technical questions and drive informed decisions through technical sophistication.
  • Effective influencing skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, even without direct ownership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to foster relationships and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Experience in navigating complex organizational structures and managing conflicting priorities.
