OP Labs is building Optimism mainnet, and by extension, the infrastructure that powers all OP-Stack chains. We are improving Ethereum’s performance by orders of magnitude and donating the profits from doing so to funding Ethereum public goods. By operating as a Public Benefit Corporation, OP Labs can align its incentives with the public good and take positive-sum steps toward a sustainable future for the internet.

We’re looking for an experienced product leader to drive growth and development of our Superchain ecosystem. Today, the Superchain consists of >$12B in assets and >4M transactions per day, with more L2s built using OP Stack than any other provider. Success for this role is growing the Superchain to $1T in assets, 100M onchain users, and hundreds of millions of daily transactions.

The Superchain is a marketplace of users and developers and we expect it to be both the best user and developer experiences in crypto. This leader will have ownership of both. In particular, this role will own the developer products and programs needed to bring the next-generation of crypto apps to life.

What are the role responsibilities?

  • Build the best user and developer experiences in crypto
  • Define the vision, strategy, and product roadmap to grow the Superchain to $1T in assets and 100M users
  • Build and manage a team of PMs to achieve the Superchain vision
  • Be a product and organizational leader in a fast-growing, value-oriented startup environment
  • Work alongside a growing and senior team of leaders to scale Ethereum and bring the world onchain
  • Drive growth and development of one of the most ambitious and dynamic two-sided marketplaces in crypto

What skills do you bring?

  • 10+ years experience leading growth-oriented and/or marketplace products
  • Proven track record of working in ambiguous, developing product spaces and winning
  • Deep strategic thinking and experience igniting flywheels
  • Experience building high-impact developer products and growth programs (and you are excited to drive growth and development of one of the most ambitious and dynamic two-sided marketplaces in crypto!)
  • Experience with open source software, crypto/web3 or developer focused products is a huge plus!
