We are looking for a Head of Risk Product to lead the vision and delivery of a next‑generation risk platform. The role focuses on preventing abuse and fraud across messaging, commerce, and device onboarding flows while preserving a smooth user experience. You will work across Engineering, Data, Operations, Finance, and Legal to build scalable decisioning systems and automated controls.
Key responsibilities
Define a multi‑year product vision for risk and abuse prevention.
Build and lead a risk team to support growth.
Evaluate and manage external technology partners and vendors.
Own decisioning systems, scoring models, data pipelines, and automated controls.
Collaborate with engineering and data on technical requirements for models, rules, and alerts.
Create frameworks to assess tradeoffs between protection and user experience.
Ensure solutions scale to new products, regions, and threat types.
Coordinate with Legal and Compliance to meet regulatory expectations.
Requirements
10+ years of professional experience, with substantial time in risk, fraud, or related functions at product‑led companies or financial services firms.
Hands‑on experience designing and operating prevention strategies.
Strong analytical and decision‑making skills.
Experience delivering resilient, scalable systems to production.
Proficiency with SQL and dashboarding tools.
High emotional intelligence and demonstrated leadership ability.
