Integrate components into the app and deploy for UAT testing
The Broader Project
At AYLIEN we leverage Artificial Intelligence (NLP and Machine Learning) to transform the world's news into real-time business insights. We do this by applying many enrichments (these can be considered as "labels") and extracting pertinent information from each of the 1.2 million news articles we process daily.
Our established News API product empowers our technically orientated customers to conduct powerful searches using the above-mentioned enrichments to find risk indicator signals amidst the noise so that they can make sense of the tsunami of News they face each day and decide what actions to take in order to mitigate such risks.
The project we are now embarking upon is to build a public demo on our website that demonstrates the value of this News API product. This is an interesting challenge because we want to demonstrate the value of an API-driven product in a visual way on our website to ensure that all visitors will understand our business model and how they leverage our product to create value within their own business.
The broader project involves the development of a standalone React app that leverages our proprietary design framework. This app will integrate with our public-facing website and will allow visitors to select a specific News topic to then display an aggregated view of the number of News articles that match that query over the past 90 days, the most common entities within that same time frame and a representation of the top 20 most relevant individual News articles. This representation of an individual article will demonstrate the many enrichments that AYLIEN applies to each and every article we process in an attempt to convey the nature of our business, where we convert unstructured content into structured data that our customers can use as filters to ensure that they can narrow in on the risk signals that matter most to them.
This job:
Integrate all previously built components into the app and deploy for UAT testing and feedback.
