Product Director, Banking Engagement
The Mission
Your primary objective is to connect the realms of "Trading" and "Banking," fostering an environment where active traders transition into regular banking users. By integrating fiat and stablecoin balances to create a seamless neobank experience, you will encourage users to view the platform as their central cash liquidity hub.
The Role
This role entails significant leadership responsibilities for a Product Expert who excels in merging customer focus with data-powered growth strategies. You will lead a team in embracing rapid experimentation and leveraging AI to accelerate prototyping and operational efficiency. Your key aim is to transform idle cash into an engaging banking experience that users depend on daily.
Responsibilities
- Strategy & Engagement Leadership: Develop and execute strategies for the Banking segment, overseeing the roadmap for accounts, liquidity utility, and everyday financial features to enhance ROI.
- Engagement-Oriented Roadmap: Establish and drive engagement KPIs for the banking vertical, ensuring that each feature release boosts Monthly Active Users (MAU) and enhances everyday banking functionality.
- Data-Driven Experimentation: Cultivate a culture of high-quality experimentation within your team. Continually test hypotheses related to onboarding, activation, and retention to drive incremental growth.
- AI-Focused Execution: Encourage the use of AI tools within the Product Management and design teams to expedite the build-measure-learn cycle and enhance operational efficiency.
- Banking Onboarding & CX: Oversee the seamless and delightful banking onboarding process, converting crypto-native users into active banking users effectively.
- Portfolio Management: Manage the evolution of the accounts experience, from basic wallet functionality to advanced savings and cashflow features.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Engineering, UX, and Legal/Compliance teams to enhance the collaborative model, ensuring that high-quality products are delivered at a top-notch fintech pace.
- Team Development: Lead and guide a group of 2-3 Product Managers, instilling a customer-centric and data-driven approach across the organization.
Requirements
- Engagement & Activation Expertise: 7-10+ years of product leadership experience at high-growth consumer fin-techs, neo-banks, or digital marketplaces, known for driving user activation and engagement effectively.
- Experimentation Proficiency: Proficient in high-frequency A/B testing and implementing a data-driven product management approach to uncover valuable insights.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Strong product design acumen and a track record of identifying and addressing customer pain points through intuitive User Experience (UX) initiatives.
- Strategic & Analytical: Exceptional structured thinking and communication skills, with the ability to translate a long-term vision into clear, measurable milestones.
- AI Proficiency: Well-versed in utilizing AI tools for enhanced productivity and efficiency gains, fostering innovative prototyping practices.
- Commercial Acumen: Understanding the commercial implications behind numbers, particularly in terms of deposit retention and cross-selling within a financial ecosystem.
- (Bonus Point) Banking Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with neo-banking and payments landscape in the US and Europe, encompassing rails, user expectations, and regulatory frameworks.
Compensation
$150,000 - $250,000 annually
