I work on video projects for Canva. I used to mainly work with the PH social media and community team and other local teams in the company, but now focus on global projects with Canva’s global team as well. I’ve worked on UI animation, long and short-form video editing, and motion graphics or 2D animation hypereels for local social media campaigns and launches, event promotions, internal projects, as well as global campaigns and efforts.

I was assigned dual roles in the company; animator and designer. As an animator, I was tasked with bringing illustrations and stories to life. I mainly worked on motion graphics explainer videos, and often spearheaded 2D animation projects and character animations in various projects. I’ve lead in executing the motion direction for a lot of projects and cascading it to other animators and designers. As a designer, I was also tasked with projects that involved conceptualization, and vector illustration. I developed some creative executions for the company’s marketing content and corporate clients.
