Vehicle wrappers install graphics that have been digitally printed to a vinyl substrate using a mock- up rendering as a guide. After registering the print media to the application surface, one removes the backing material and applies the vinyl graphics using the adhesive on the back to fix it to the surface. Possessing acute attention to detail, the ability to measure and level graphics consistently, a high amount of patience and finesse, and knowledge of different vinyl materials are all paramount to the graphic installer position. Additional job responsibilities include manufacturing and installing temporary signage, applying marketing graphics to storefront windows, acquiring accurate on-site surveys for graphics production, and completing shop duties when called upon.
