Role:

We are in search of a Vice President of Operations to become a valuable member of our Senior Management Team. This role is crucial in steering and implementing Asset Reality's cutting-edge digital asset management, custody, and liquidation services while also actively contributing to client-facing projects and our overarching growth strategy. The ideal candidate should possess relevant experience in financial services and collaborate effectively with various departments such as business development, sales, customer success, legal, and technology.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this role encompass both internal and external engagements.

Internal Engagement:

Lead the execution of our custody solution by mobilizing the necessary teams and personnel to drive our custody operations efficiently.

Serve as a bridge between different business functions to ensure alignment with the broader vision and individual objectives.

Supervise the successful rollout of our digital asset custody service.

Organize and define roles, develop on-call schedules for liquidations, and meet internal SLAs for our custody solution.

External Engagement:

Support sales, marketing, and business development activities by acting as a key contact to articulate our digital asset offering.

Aid in crafting responses to Requests for Information/Proposals, showcasing how our solutions fulfill client needs and comply with security, compliance, legal, and regulatory standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collect feedback from internal teams, clients, and networks, and analyze data to guide product development decisions.

Cultivate and nurture vital relationships internally and externally.

Ensure alignment of features and improvements across teams to meet client needs while upholding the Asset Reality brand and principles.

Initial 90 Days:

In the initial stages, the focus will be on organizing and defining roles with partners, coordinating liquidation schedules, and setting internal SLAs. As the team grows, the role will expand to include other key duties specified in the job description, facilitating task allocation and team management.

Requirements:

Remote-first company, giving preference to candidates located near major US or UK hubs like Washington DC or London.

Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

Experience in managing operations within an established digital custodian or financial services institution.

Background in regulated and compliant business settings, exhibiting expertise in delivering custody solutions.

Previous involvement in developing digital asset custody, management, and liquidation platforms in their early stages.

Proficient in analytical, communication, and interpersonal capabilities.

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks.

Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, Tableau) and the Microsoft Office suite.
