Responsibilities:
Circle is seeking a seasoned analyst well-versed in Compliance systems and data to drive the development of reporting and insights capabilities, facilitating data-informed compliance decisions. In this pivotal role, you'll have the opportunity to design and implement top-tier assets to support the Global Compliance Program in achieving exceptional outcomes. Your responsibilities entail ensuring data integrity, generating program insights and analytics tools, and customizing models to aid compliance officers in informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Compliance Program and Product teams to design dashboards and reports for AML, Sanctions, and KYC controls.
- Conduct analytics related to BSA/AML compliance controls, optimizing and refining controls for regulatory examinations.
- Establish system performance metrics, implement QA processes for consistent and accurate data outputs.
- Develop self-service dashboards, statistical models, and reports to facilitate data-driven decisions.
- Support the team in documenting and fine-tuning AML transaction monitoring rules, sanctions screening systems, and risk scoring models.
- Execute end-to-end testing of AML and sanctions models, ensuring comprehensive documentation for regulatory scrutiny.
- Advocate for continuous improvement initiatives, driving automation and process efficiency enhancements.
- Utilize advanced statistical techniques to analyze structured and unstructured data for complex business problem-solving.
- Collaborate with the Compliance Program team and multidisciplinary partners to shape the data and analytics strategy for seamless program execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data management and analytics within banking, consulting, or cryptocurrency sectors.
- Proficiency in data analysis programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional leaders to improve compliance processes.
- Strong track record in preparing compliance model documentation.
- Comfort in adapting to industry changes and dynamic demands.
- Familiarity with AML and sanctions software; experience with on-chain transaction monitoring solutions is beneficial.
- Competence with Google Suite, Slack, and Apple MacOS is preferred.
Additional Details:
The listed position offers day-one PERM sponsorship for eligible candidates. Compensation packages at Circle are designed with various considerations, including experience, skillset, and organizational needs. Compensation ranges may vary by location.
Starting Salary Range: $145,000 - $192,500
Annual Bonus Target: 15%
