Binance, a global blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, is seeking a Design Lead to join their global creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering exceptional creative work for the Binance brand. Working closely with designers, editors, and animators, you will bring the creative vision to life and oversee day-to-day creative work, brand campaigns, and product campaigns.

As a Senior Design Management role, you will play a key role in driving the development and delivery of innovative brand creativity to support business goals and customer growth. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will lead a team of designers, motion graphic artists, and creators to deliver all creative requirements for Binance globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the delivery of creative design, including design strategy, motion design, art direction, campaigns, partnerships, email, social media, digital advertising, events, and customer communications.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality creative design aligned with business goals and brand objectives.
  • Create on-brand and compelling creative for daily, weekly, and seasonal campaigns, reflecting the Binance brand style and tone.
  • Accountable for managing and delivering creative design campaigns, such as key visuals, campaign design, motion design, storyboards, landing pages, social media, events, email, digital advertising, local markets, localization, and partnership campaigns.
  • Monitor the quality of design outputs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support acquisition and retention teams with effective and cost-efficient brand design campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to learn from campaign performance and drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Devise and execute plans for creative asset creation, including graphics and motion design.
  • Stay updated on crypto, competitor landscape, branding and design trends, and art direction.

Creative Operations & Finance:

  • Work with the Creative Director and Global Marketing, Product Marketing, and Social Media teams to define and optimize creative team processes.
  • Support the Global Creative Director and provide management reporting on campaign effectiveness and results.
  • Collaborate with Global and Local Marketing partners to ensure a consistent and optimized approach in all activities.
  • Assist in the control and monitoring of the Creative Design budget.
  • Work with the Brand Design Lead to create style guides and branding requirements.

Team and Relationship Management:

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of designers and freelance design resources.
  • Set performance objectives and conduct performance reviews for the design team.
  • Develop designers by identifying development needs and training opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with external suppliers.
  • Ensure freelance resources are available when required.
  • Lead, motivate, and coach the design team.
  • Implement succession plans for the Global Creative Director.
  • Foster relationships with other teams and business functions to support the Binance vision.
  • Develop and enhance the team's creative and motion design knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Experienced Design professional with qualifications in graphic design, branding, and digital design.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing a creative team.
  • Experience in development, objective setting, and performance management.
  • Previous experience working within a global business.
  • Strong background in design for fast-paced, high-volume online businesses.
  • Customer and brand-centric mindset in the design process.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
