Data Integrations Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Take on a hands-on role starting from data ingestion to ensuring data is available in the warehouse layer in a standardized format for immediate use.
- Analyze and map data, assess data quality, and perform quality assurance on transformed data.
- Uphold data architecture standards, data warehouse policies, and procedures to provide clients with high-quality data.
- Utilize appropriate tools, whether modern or traditional, to deliver scalable solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with the team, engaging in peer reviews of solutions and implementations to lay the foundation for upcoming projects.
Key Tasks:
- Demonstrate expertise on various healthcare data types including medical claims transactions, pharmacy claims, EMR/EHR, lab transactions, and other emerging data assets.
- Design high-quality dimensional models and data mapping.
- Mentor team members by sharing data content and industry knowledge.
- Offer strategic guidance on Master Data Management (MDM) best practices.
- Perform data profiling and integration.
- Validate incoming healthcare data extensively using SQL.
- Map de-identified healthcare data to suitable data structures.
- Participate in the development of Quality Assurance (QA) test plans for incoming data and data within the warehouse.
- Troubleshoot ETL processes and resolve issues efficiently.
- Enhance and strengthen company standards pertaining to nomenclature, storage, design, and deployment.
- Support all data warehouse initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 7+ years of experience with EHR, medical claims, pharmacy data.
- 15+ years of experience in data warehousing.
- 10+ years of hands-on SQL experience.
- 7+ years of data modeling or building and modifying tables in an RDBMS environment.
- 5+ years of mapping source data to target tables.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with healthcare IT standards and data structures including ANSI 837/835, NCPDP D.0, HL7, and optionally HL7 CCR/CCD or FHIR.
- Experience with Hive, Spark SQL, and Python.
Salary Range:
$70,000 - $190,000 per year. The base salary offered will reflect experience, with an annual bonus opportunity.
Hiring Locations:
Preferably in the Philadelphia area. Remote work available from select locations in the Eastern Time Zone - Boston (MA), New York City (NY), Baltimore (MD), Washington D.C, Charlotte (NC), Raleigh-Durham (NC), Atlanta (GA), and approved states within the Eastern Time Zone.
