POSITION SUMMARY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Transition and maintain pipelines, focusing on JenkinsX for artifact management and enabling CI/CD workflows
  • Deploy and manage Kubernetes environments using GitOps practices
  • Develop infrastructure automation through tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Bicep
  • Monitor and operate infrastructure effectively, ensuring proper alert response
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Owners, Architects, and other team members to optimize development processes
  • Employ agile methodologies to steer implementation decisions and overall architecture

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidates should possess:

  • Substantial experience as a DevOps Engineer within a software product development environment, also overseeing IT infrastructure operations
  • Proficiency in comprehensive CI/CD setup implementation
  • Hands-on experience with container deployment using Kubernetes or similar platforms like OpenShift via HELM
  • Understanding of containerizing software originally not designed as microservices
  • In-depth knowledge of various tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, GIT, HELM, and monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus
  • Proficiency in SRE or DevOps practices with good understanding of related technologies and principles
  • Familiarity with varied domains like virtualization, Linux, Java development, databases, and agile environments
  • Previous exposure to Azure platform usage is advantageous
  • Additional expertise in Jenkins-X, GitOps, Artifactory, crossplane, and ArgoCD is a plusment-->
  • Familiarity with developing secure and resilient software, overseeing supply chain assessments, and zero trust system design is beneficial
  • Knowledge of IT security, PKI, and open-source software is advantageous
  • Experience in Agile SCRUM methodology and professional fluency in English
  • Possession of a degree in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines is desirable
  • Previous experience with Java-based systems development and a penchant for identity-first security practices is preferable
