Director, National Accounts

Position Summary: We are looking for a skilled National Accounts leader to elevate our distribution network and market connectivity. Leading the National Accounts strategy, the Director will cultivate and monitor distribution platform partnerships under the guidance of our Head of Distribution. The ideal candidate will be relationship-focused, eager to foster strong connections at partner firm headquarters, and expand Grayscale's presence in the advised wealth market.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and leverage external distribution opportunities, fostering new and existing relationships primarily with wealth management platforms.
- Manage key strategic relationships with national accounts by understanding client requirements, devising strategic approaches, and overseeing due diligence procedures.
- Collaborate with internal sales teams and external partners to effectively position products within national account platforms in support of sales and distribution efforts.
- Implement strategic initiatives across partner firm headquarters, coordinating marketing, product development, research, and sales activities.
- Develop expertise in Grayscale's comprehensive Product Suite, encompassing ETFs, Private Placements, and Private Funds.
- Stay informed about developments in the digital currency ecosystem.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members in the distribution department.
- Assist in developing sales resources like marketing materials and collateral for client presentations.
Prior Experience/Requirements:
- 8-15+ years of strategic relationship management experience in asset management, with ETF background preferred.
- Proven track record in selling diverse investment products to various channels and investor segments.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, time-management, and organizational skills.
- Strong interest in digital currencies, blockchain technology, and relevant concepts.
- In-depth understanding of the global asset management industry, particularly digital assets/crypto, and knowledge of different client segments, regulatory aspects, and market trends.
- Proficient in networking with professional and personal communities.
- Self-motivated individual with passion, resilience, and enthusiasm for capital raising.
- Capable of working collaboratively in a dynamic team environment with flexibility and a positive attitude.
- Thorough understanding of a fast-paced work environment.
- Required certifications: FINRA Series 7, 63.
