The primary responsibility of an Engineering Lead is to facilitate the growth and success of the engineering team. In this role, you will participate in recruiting top-tier Engineers to reinforce team expansion, mentor and collaborate with team members to support their career advancements, and establish processes that enhance the productivity and performance of an agile engineering team. The essence of this role is to foster an environment where team members feel motivated, challenged, and dedicated to achieving company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing, mentoring, and developing geographically dispersed teams.
  • Hands-on experience in developing complex distributed systems; familiarity with Go language is preferred, but adaptability to other languages is welcomed as well.
  • Enthusiasm for building services from inception and nurturing them over the long term.
  • A keen appreciation for code efficiency and robust test infrastructure.
  • Preference for enhancing end-user experiences and delivering business value over adopting the latest technologies.
  • Proficiency in computer science fundamentals like concurrency, algorithms, and data structures, with or without a formal CS degree.
