Role Overview

The Alchemy Wallet Services team is focused on enabling developers to create secure, simplified, and self-sovereign user experiences for mainstream adoption of blockchain technology. As an engineering manager within this team, your responsibilities include supporting engineering teams technically and culturally as the company continues to grow.

You will lead teams working on core open-source protocol infrastructure and Alchemy's managed services, catering to some of the industry's largest teams. The role involves both internal product development at Alchemy and contributing to the broader EVM ecosystem. This includes shaping internal product roadmaps as well as engaging with the ecosystem through open-source contributions, standards development, and forming strategic partnerships.

Some recent team activities include blog posts and open-source releases such as "Account Abstraction" and projects like Rundler and Modular Account. A significant portion of the team's work involves open-source contributions, which can be explored further publically.

  • Expertise in engineering large scale distributed systems.
  • Experience in EVM development or team leadership is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Rust, C++, or other lower-level systems programming is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Genuine interest in creating innovative solutions for blockchain users.
