We are in search of a Director of Finance who will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, planning, and compliance within the organization. This role involves preparing financial statements, setting budgets, tax planning, accounting, and providing financial analysis for special projects.

Experience in Web3 is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Financial Operations
- Manage financial operations and treasury, including cash and digital assets.
- Supervise bank and custody accounts to maintain proper operations and authorization.
- Forecast burn rates, revenue, income streams, and accurately present financial positions in real-time.
- Collaborate with Legal and the leadership team on transfer pricing and inter-company agreements.
- Monitor outsourced financial services to ensure optimal performance.
Reporting and Compliance
- Implement best practices and ensure compliance with regulations, in coordination with Legal.
- Regularly report on cash positions, liquidity forecasts, and risks to leadership.
- Track essential financial metrics for the company's financial well-being.
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Design and implement internal controls for financial reporting and accounting policies.
Strategic Planning and Forecasting
- Drive strategic financial planning with a focus on detailed cash and digital asset projections.
- Develop forecasting models to predict liquidity needs and anticipate market trends.
- Provide financial analysis to aid strategic decisions and support the leadership team.
Cash and Liquidity Management
- Optimize cash flow and liquidity, aligning with investment and financing strategies.
- Formulate liquidity strategies for managing cryptocurrency assets and DeFi challenges.
- Implement proactive monitoring to navigate crypto market volatility effectively.
Risk Management
- Formulate risk management strategies to address digital asset market changes.
- Assess counterparty risks related to financial partners and service providers.
- Review counterparty risk exposure regularly and adjust strategies accordingly.
