About the role
As a Full-Stack Engineer at Toku, you will be instrumental in both technical and cultural aspects. You will focus on developing high-impact, user-centric products that shape users' experiences with our platform. Our ambitious roadmap includes building cutting-edge token compensation infrastructure that integrates with the real world, requiring you to hit technical milestones, work directly with founders, and actively contribute code daily.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with sales and product teams on decisions and strategy, contributing as a proactive problem-solver
- Uphold coding best practices such as code quality, strong typing, and meticulous API design
- Lead in establishing and documenting best practices to ensure scalable engineering processes at Toku
- Identify areas for process improvement and maintain Toku's high standards for technical quality
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience at a venture-backed startup
- Proficiency in producing high-quality, maintainable code in an agile software environment
- Track record of successfully seeing through projects involving diverse technologies and systems
- Demonstrated autonomy in executing new ideas and integrating various services and processes
- Understanding of high-quality code principles and ability to foster a conducive engineering environment
- Preference for working in a fast-paced, remote-first startup setting, alongside project launch and scaling experience
- Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills
- Bonus points for entrepreneurial mindset and experience in founding or developing side projects
- Availability to work within the North America Time Zone
