Responsibilities

  • Manage personal workload efficiently and promptly escalate key risks/issues to management
  • Review and validate client onboarding applications within established SLAs
  • Foster strong relationships with Relationship Partner Teams, clients, and gather required due diligence evidence for KYC procedures
  • Utilize compliance tools like Refinitiv World-Check & Jumio for applications
  • Ensure thorough customer due diligence through 2-eyed and 4-eyed processes
  • Conduct risk assessments, reviews, and enhanced due diligence investigations
  • Monitor and document suspicious activities or AML indicators
  • Take part in AML/CFT training programs and other relevant sessions
  • Handle administrative tasks relevant to compliance and onboarding operations as per business needs
  • Verify constitutional documents of corporate clients and associated entities
  • Perform regulatory searches and WorldCheck screenings
  • Translate corporate documents into English
  • Prepare detailed escalation reports for senior management regarding client risks and compliance issues
  • Offer inputs on system improvements and gaps in procedures
  • Maintain accurate manual data entry protocols

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in corporate onboarding with in-depth knowledge of compliance regulations
  • Fluency in English required; knowledge of European languages is beneficial
  • Familiarity with different client types and EEA jurisdictions
  • Experience in AML Policy reviews and gap identification
  • Knowledge of Virtual Asset Service Providers operations
  • Ability to handle complex KYB cases and Financial Institution reviews
  • Preferred certifications include ACAMS/CAMS/CCAS/ICA or similar
  • Strong time management, organizational, and relationship-building skills
  • Adaptability to changing and fast-paced environments
  • Understanding of local laws, regulations, and standards applicable to compliance
  • Knowledge of upcoming virtual currency regulations is advantageous
