Lead Architect, Identity and Access Management

Responsibilities:
- Engage in sharing and guiding best practices in customer identity and access across frontend and backend setups
- Implement and manage the secure deployment of access tokens like JWOT and assess developer usage to mitigate risks and enhance customer experiences
- Collaborate on building an IAM architecture that addresses managing toxic roles, insider misuse, privileges, shared accounts, etc., offering practical solutions and risk reduction strategies
- Evaluate existing privilege access management strategies and align them with Circle's unique position to advocate for and implement optimal solutions at the right time
- Work closely with the security team to enhance broader security controls and minimize enterprise risks

Requirements:
- 5+ years as an identity architect with 7+ years implementing identity and access systems in diverse coding languages
- Passion for scalable, reproducible security practices
- Self-motivated problem-solver with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficient in managing competing priorities under pressure, with expertise in IAM protocols and concepts
- Familiarity with IAM technologies from leading providers and relevant industry frameworks
- Preferably experienced in financial services or fintech with a degree in computer science or related field
- Demonstrated software development skills in Python, Golang, or equivalent languages
- Hands-on experience in an AWS environment essential
