Job Responsibilities:

As a valuable team member, you will be responsible for spearheading the design and execution of a comprehensive blockchain security assessment program. Your main tasks will include conducting security risk assessments of blockchains, offering cybersecurity expertise and risk mitigation strategies to various enterprise teams.

Key Duties:

• Utilize your technical expertise in various blockchains like Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, etc., to conduct blockchain security assessments.
• Evaluate threat intelligence concerning diverse blockchains and provide impact assessments.
• Collaborate with blockchain engineering teams, furnishing security recommendations.
• Develop and refine Circle's blockchain assessment program.
• Assess the security aspects of a designated group of Circle's third-party entities and suggest and monitor risk mitigation approaches.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.
• Present metrics and reports.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Proficient understanding of Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, and the ability to comprehend source code, like Python, Rust.
• 2+ years of experience in blockchain security and 7+ years in cybersecurity, technology, or engineering fields.
• Skilled in communicating security risks to both technical and non-technical teams.
• Capable of evaluating technical controls to ascertain their effectiveness.
• Exposure to financial services or other highly regulated industries.
• Self-driven and adaptable to ambiguity.
• Solution-oriented and able to propose improvements to existing processes.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CTPRP, CISA, CISM) preferred but not mandatory.

Additional Details:

• This role may qualify for day-one PERM sponsorship for eligible candidates.
• Compensation ranges consider factors like expertise, qualifications, and organizational needs.
• Base Pay Range: $130,000-$170,000, with an Annual Bonus Target of 15%.
