As the Risk Lead overseeing Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), you will be spearheading the enhancement and expansion of enterprise-wide TPRM and ERM operations. Your role involves designing, developing, and scaling frameworks while ensuring operational excellence within Anchorage Digital.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Skills:
- Leverage expertise in TPRM and ERM best practices, particularly within complex regulatory environments in financial institutions.
Impact and Complexity of Work:
- Develop and advance TPRM framework, vendor management programs, and procurement processes across all Anchorage Digital entities.
- Formulate and enhance the ERM framework and associated policies and procedures.
- Address futuristic concepts, products, or technologies with a focus on tangible outcomes and technical accountability.
- Display consistency in delivering high-quality outcomes within set timelines and proactively escalate any risks to the appropriate channels.
Organizational Knowledge:
- Align initiatives and operations within the department, collaborate across departments, and harmonize efforts with Anchorage Digital's overarching strategic goals.
- Navigate complex issues with a deep understanding of the company's inner workings and promote cross-functional collaboration to anticipate and mitigate obstacles.
- Foster productive collaborations across teams to resolve technical discrepancies and challenges.
Communication and Influence:
- Present reports on TPRM and ERM to senior executives, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders, articulating complex issues clearly and persuasively.
- Define a coherent strategy for the team, ensuring streamlined execution, and proficiently communicate with various stakeholders.
Base Qualifications:
- Possess 10 - 15 years of experience in regulated financial services, specifically in TPRM and ERM within traditional financial institutions with a strong metrics-driven culture.
- Demonstrate analytical prowess, urgency in execution, punctuality, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to craft and implement programs, policies, and procedures.
- Proven track record in leadership, offering constructive feedback, stakeholder engagement, and fostering connections.
- Proficiency in swift decision-making, risk assessment, and effective prioritization.
