Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all compliance and regulatory matters in partnership with local and regional regulatory bodies across Europe.
- Coordinating regulatory efforts among a team of skilled Compliance Officers and Money Laundering Reporting Officers in Europe.
- Compiling regular compliance reports for senior management.
- Cooperating on regulatory filings and formulating European compliance policies, including MiCA guidelines.
- Conducting internal compliance policy evaluations, aiding with compliance and internal audit reviews, and conducting ongoing assessments.
- Collaborating with internal and external advisors to track and address regulatory changes affecting the business.
- Participating in special compliance projects and initiatives across various departments as needed.
- Assisting in creating training materials and conducting necessary studies to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintaining records of internal audit and training activities regularly.
- Ensuring adherence to Binance Europe's and local Anti-Money Laundering procedures.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant legal or compliance experience with in-depth knowledge of local and regional compliance regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or relevant work experience; a law degree is advantageous, and an advanced degree is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, specifically in written English.
- Extensive experience working with European regulators and banking partners.
- Fintech background is beneficial, and foreign language proficiency is a plus.
