Responsibilities:
Circle is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Compliance Operations team as a key member focused on conducting detailed periodic reviews in the KYC process. Responsibilities include overseeing the end-to-end KYC review process, performing in-depth customer evaluations, and ensuring compliance with due diligence requirements.
Key Duties:
- Conduct reviews on high-risk client relationships to verify the accuracy and completion of customer due diligence, in alignment with specialized requirements.
- Analyze client profile changes and documentation to identify alterations in risk factors and potential red flags.
- Enhance internal records with updated customer KYC information.
- Verify that clients’ business activities are consistent with their profiles and models.
- Prepare risk acceptance memos for high-risk customers, summarizing findings and actions required.
- Collaborate with customer service teams and Relationship Managers to obtain essential documentation for KYC compliance.
- Share knowledge and collaborate with regional team leads.
- Stay informed about industry trends related to money laundering or fraud activities and report any suspicious transactions.
- Perform general administrative tasks related to the responsibilities as needed to support business requirements.

- Experience collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders and internal teams.
- Adaptability to navigate and respond quickly to changing industry dynamics.
- Bachelor’s degree required; technical or quantitative background preferred.
- 4+ years of relevant AML and KYC review experience, with 2 years in crypto, including ongoing monitoring of high-risk clients.
- Detail-oriented and analytically inclined.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Additional certifications like CAMS, CFCS, or CFE are advantageous.
- Proficiency in working remotely with teams across different time zones.
- Familiarity with Slack, G Suite, and Apple MacOS.
Additional Details:
- This role may be eligible for PERM sponsorship on day one for qualified candidates.
- The compensation package considers factors such as experience, qualifications, and organizational requirements.
- Compensation: Base Pay Range $90,000-120,000, Annual Bonus Target 12.5%.
