What you’ll be responsible for: Become a vital member of the Data Engineering Web3 team at Circle, focusing on managing the ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouse critical for analyzing trends and engagement within our Web3 product suite.

What you'll work on:

  • Collaborate with business units to enhance the scalability of the data platform, facilitating seamless data ingestion, storage, and aggregation for internal and customer-facing applications.
  • Harness expertise in data modeling, pipelines, quality, and warehousing.
  • Construct and maintain data ETL/ELT pipelines to curate essential data for analysis and reporting, while refining the operations and performance of the data warehouse.
  • Create integrations with external systems for sourcing and ingesting varied datasets.
  • Implement data analytics and visualization tools to derive actionable insights from data for informed decision-making.
  • Liaise across departments such as product, engineering, data science, and external partners for efficient data modeling, lifecycle management, governance, and regulatory compliance.

What you’ll bring to Circle: For Senior Data Engineer (III)

  • 4+ years of data engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Scala, Python).
  • Advanced SQL experience in big data warehouse systems like Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks.
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration engines and cloud services.
  • Expertise in developing scalable data processing infrastructure and web3/blockchain technology.
  • Skills in data provenance, governance, and open-source big data technologies.
  • Ability to solve complex problems, take ownership, and work efficiently.

  • Base Pay Range: $147,500 - $195,000
  • Annual Bonus Target: 12.5%

Role Overview
