Role Responsibilities:
Within the domain of data engineering for Web3, Circle's Data Engineering Web3 team member takes charge of managing the ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouse essential for analyzing trends and activities in our Web3 product offerings. The primary responsibilities involve overseeing the scalable data platform architecture that processes, stores, and aggregates diverse datasets and ensures the optimal utilization of data in internal and external applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with various teams for design, deployment, and enhancement of the scalable data platform, acknowledging multiple data sets.
- Serving as an expert in data modeling, pipelines, quality, and warehouse management.
- Designing, constructing, and maintaining data pipelines, enabling efficient data sourcing, aggregation, and warehouse performance.
- Establishing connections with third-party systems for data ingestion.
- Implementing data analytics tools to derive actionable insights from datasets for informed decision-making.
- Engaging in cross-functional collaboration for data modeling, governance, and regulatory compliance solutions.

Candidate Requirements:
For the Senior Data Engineer (III) role, the ideal candidate possesses:
- 4+ years of data engineering experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Scala, Python.
- Profound SQL knowledge related to big data warehouse systems.
- Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Services, workflow management engines, and data processing tools.
- Familiarity with web3, blockchain technologies, data governance, and big data technologies.
- Ability to address complex challenges with a proactive approach and superb communication skills for efficient collaboration.
Additional Details:
Candidates qualifying for this position may receive day-one PERM sponsorship and a competitive compensation package including base pay within the range of $147,500 - $195,000, with an annual bonus target of 12.5%. Additional benefits such as equity, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), unlimited vacation policy, 10 days of sick leave, and 11 paid holidays annually in the U.S. are also included.
