Responsibilities:
At Circle, streamlining Web3 functionalities is key, supported by a range of tools to expedite app development. As a key member of the Data Engineering Web3 team, your mandate involves overseeing ETL/ELT pipelines and the data warehouse architecture critical for analyzing patterns and engagements across our Web3 solutions.

- Collaborate with business units to design, deploy, and enhance a scalable data infrastructure for processing, storing, and aggregating diverse data sets efficiently.
- Leverage expertise in data science to architect robust data pipelines and warehouse systems, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.
- Drive integrations with third-party platforms to procure and transform various data reservoirs.
- Enable data analytics tools to extract actionable insights, fostering data-driven decisions.
- Liaise closely with cross-functional cohorts like product, engineering, data science, and external entities to supervise data lifecycle processes, data integrity, quality management, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications for Senior Data Engineer:
- 4+ years hands-on experience in data engineering.
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python.
- Advanced SQL prowess in data warehouse environments (like Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks).
- Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, etc.).
- Competence in workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, DBT).
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Expertise in building scalable data processing infrastructure.
- Understanding of blockchain protocols and Web3 concepts.
- Skills in data governance and provenance.
- Knowledge of open-source big data technologies.
- Capacity to solve complex, ambiguous problems.
- Autonomous worker who thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communicator adept at collaborating with remote teams.

- Base Pay Range: $147,500 - $195,000
- Annual Bonus Target: 12.5%
