Senior DevOps Engineer - Cryptocurrency

Job Summary:
Auros is seeking a proficient DevOps engineer to contribute to the management and enhancement of our high-performance infrastructure supporting digital asset trading. Responsibilities include system deployment for executing trades on various platforms while addressing security, resilience, and operational tasks within a dynamic environment. Collaboration with internal teams and the development of infrastructure-related tools will be pivotal to this role.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Uphold and enhance global infrastructure identified by high performance and reliability criteria.
- Enhance company-wide security infrastructure given the high-risk operational landscape.
- Collaborate with various teams on system design and DevOps process enhancement.
- Create internal tools and automate tasks to meet infrastructure objectives.
- Perform application tuning and troubleshooting, advising developers on enhancing application performance.
- Engage closely with developers, traders, and internal staff to achieve organizational objectives.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in DeFi and cryptocurrencies with practical skills working on RPC nodes and APIs.
- 5+ years of experience in managing Linux systems within high-performance environments.
- Hands-on experience in cloud management, particularly with Terraform and knowledge of AWS and Azure.
- Strong familiarity with Linux administration and configuring systems via Ansible.
- Proficient in container management, deployment, and orchestration, with Kubernetes experience preferred.
- Competency in setting up Prometheus/Grafana stack for observability improvement.
- Sound knowledge of TCP/IP and host-level networking.
- Experience in performance tuning across hardware, cloud instances, and network latency.
- Strong programming skills in Python and bash; familiarity with Javascript/Typescript or Go is beneficial.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, including cloud security, SIEM, network security, endpoint security, and software supply chain security.
