Role Overview:
Joining as a senior leader under the VP, Creative Lab, the incumbent shall play a pivotal role in enhancing a high-visibility website and content endeavors impacting the Marketing team and Circle's corporate objectives. Chief responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
- Developing the website's narrative structure and user journey strategy, spanning new initiatives, website enhancements, page content enrichment, and design.
- Directing content discovery and strategizing for ongoing comprehensive site revamps to meet users’ content requisites.
- Crafting UX copy for functional web components like navigation menus and engaging customer experiences.
- Collaborating with design and engineering teams to delineate page content hierarchy and narrative user pathways.
- Managing and nurturing a Content Strategist, offering mentorship and escalating the Content Strategy discipline's influence within and beyond Marketing.
- Ensuring localization team alignment to maintain product experience excellence across languages and regions.
- Enabling internal teams with clear content guidelines and standards for web content creation across various page formats.
- Proactively updating global taxonomy guidelines and aiding content tagging strategies to bolster content, search, and SEO initiatives.
- Providing prolific writing solutions for diverse content types spanning website, UX copy, social media, events, campaigns, and more.
- Contributing to intranet content strategy in coordination with stakeholders.
- Engaging with a spectrum of internal partners while leveraging writing skills and UX expertise to enhance product copy usability for Circle customers.
- Coordinating resource allocation during biannual planning in conjunction with Director-level peers.
- Collaborating on content ecosystem audits to identify enhancement opportunities alongside Digital Marketing and Brand Strategy teams.
Desired Qualifications:
- Extensive 12+ years’ content strategy experience, spanning brand marketing, agency management, and COE internally.
- Minimum 5 years in marketing leadership roles showcasing a track record of success.
- Bachelor's degree essential, with additional Master’s degree seen as advantageous.
- Strong executive presence, influencing varied stakeholder groups effectively.
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills for producing impactful content aligning with Circle’s narratives.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic settings and streamline amidst ambiguity.
- Strong interest in emerging technologies like cryptography and blockchain reshaping financial systems.
- Proficiency with tools like Slack, Coda, Asana, Apple MacOS, and GSuite.
- Competent in designing content across platforms like web, email, and product interfaces.
- Prior experience in holistic content structuring emphasizing inclusivity, accessibility, information architecture, and web design and SEO best practices.
Additional Considerations:
- The role is eligible for immediate PERM sponsorship for eligible individuals.
- Aims to create a transparent and comprehensive financial footing, adapting compensation structures as needed to align with individual backgrounds and business prerequisites.
- Initial salary range: $220,000 - $275,000.
- Complemented by an annual bonus target: 25%.
