As a Senior Engineer on the Coin Integration Team at Ledger, you will be pivotal in integrating diverse blockchains into the Ledger ecosystem to ensure seamless compatibility and functionality with our devices. This role requires advanced technical proficiency and a thorough understanding of blockchain technologies.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Diverse Blockchains: Contribute to the integration of various blockchain technologies seamlessly into Ledger's ecosystem to guarantee flawless operation with our hardware and software solutions.
• Develop Integration Solutions: Devise and execute strategies for blockchain integration that harmonize with organizational objectives and user requirements.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product management, software development, and quality assurance teams to deliver robust blockchain solutions.
• Technical Problem Solving: Tackle intricate blockchain integration challenges using innovative solutions and industry best practices.
• Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Offer guidance and share expertise with team members to foster their growth and continuous learning.
• Implement Best Practices: Apply agile best practices tailored to blockchain integration processes to promote adaptability and responsiveness to change.
• Active Participation: Engage in regular agile ceremonies like sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to heighten team effectiveness and morale.
• Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of feedback and innovation by experimenting with new integration techniques to enhance processes.

Requirements

• Extensive Coding Experience: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Blockchain Protocol Knowledge: Strong experience working with various blockchain protocols and standards.
• Agile Methodologies: Understanding of agile project teams and methodologies.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset concerning blockchain integrations and product outcomes.
• Team Collaboration: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective contribution to a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Bonus Experience

• Blockchain Projects Experience: Demonstrated success in blockchain or cryptocurrency-related projects.
• Hardware Wallet Familiarity: Understanding of hardware wallet technology or security-focused applications.
• Multi-Blockchain Understanding: In-depth knowledge of multiple blockchain architectures, including EVM, Cosmos, and Polkadot.
