Together, the team focuses on optimizing global finance initiatives, showing a strong attention to detail and managing several engaging projects simultaneously.
The Transfer Pricing Senior Associate/Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's transfer pricing policies and documentation. This role involves implementing intercompany transactions, preparing Local File/Master File, and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR). Key attributes for success in this role include strong analytical abilities, experience in financial services or tech-oriented environments, and effective collaboration across teams to navigate intricate intercompany structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and reconcile intercompany journal entries related to transfer pricing to ensure compliance with global tax accounting standards.
- Assist in the creation and upkeep of transfer pricing documentation in accordance with OECD guidelines and local regulations, such as Local File, Master File, and CbCR.
- Support the development and monitoring of the Group transfer pricing model by implementing transfer pricing policies and legal agreements for intercompany transactions.
- Collaborate with finance teams and external advisors to ensure timely submission of CbCR, BEPS Pillar 2, and other transfer pricing filings.
- Conduct financial analyses and benchmarking to support transfer pricing decisions, engaging with external advisors on project delivery.
- Coordinate with accounting, legal, treasury, and various business units to align transfer pricing activities with other operational functions.
- Assist in handling tax and financial audits by preparing necessary responses and documentation.
- Optimize processes by leveraging tax, accounting, and AI technology for efficient data collection and reporting.
- Stay informed on global tax regulations, transfer pricing guidelines, OECD standards, and industry trends to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.
- Bring 4+ years of experience in transfer pricing or tax, including 2+ years in-house or at a Big 4 consulting firm, with fintech/tech industry exposure being advantageous.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of OECD guidelines, Local File/Master File requirements, BEPS Pillar 2, and CbCR.
- Show adaptability and a hands-on approach in addressing operational transfer pricing challenges.
- Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and using tools like Bloomberg or RoyaltyRange.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential; experience with ERPs like SAP or Oracle, and tax software is beneficial.
- Strong communication and organizational capabilities, portraying resourcefulness and the ability to lead activities to completion.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is preferred for effective written and verbal communication.
