Qualifications:

We are in search of a dynamic Product Manager to join our product development team. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in the evolution and enhancement of our cryptocurrency trading products, with a focus on broadening client-facing tools that cover spot, derivatives, and on-chain segments. A strong background in trade lifecycle workflows, risk operations, liquidity management, core infrastructure, and reporting is essential for this role. The Product team at Galaxy collaborates with design, technology, trading desks, compliance, and other stakeholders to define and execute toward organizational goals. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of a key product area within the Trading division to align with market demands and client requirements.
  • Stay abreast of market changes and business opportunities to drive the evolution of features.
  • Assess the economics of new products and grasp risks and tradeoffs fully.
  • Work closely with support, engineering, and infrastructure teams to create comprehensive solutions for clients.
  • Proficiency in documenting requirements using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Figma to ensure clear communication.
  • Enhance client-facing tools to optimize user engagement and experience.
  • Conduct market research to remain informed about industry trends and competitor activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of product management experience, preferably in fintech or cryptocurrency sectors.
  • Thorough understanding of cryptocurrency markets and traditional finance.
  • Experience managing product and engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Technical aptitude with knowledge of automated workflows and software development processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
