Responsibilities:
Circle is seeking a dynamic Security Leader with specialized knowledge in Endpoint Security, proficiency in various Cloud-based Infrastructures, and expertise in managing a Mac-based device fleet. As part of the Security Engineering team, you will collaborate closely with the Infrastructure and IT teams to oversee the protection and security solutions for our fleet devices, enterprise services, and endpoints.
Key Accountabilities:
- Strengthen and operationalize Circle’s Endpoint Security strategy
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and IT teams on endpoint protection and security solution development
- Conduct thorough risk assessments of current Endpoint Security posture
- Recommend and validate security controls enhancements across infrastructure and enterprise stack
- Cultivate relationships with essential external stakeholders like customers, vendors, and auditors
- Generate data-driven reports assessing technology risks for senior management
- Drive continual enhancements in the tech stack

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Mobile Device Management solutions such as Intune, Kandji, or Jamf
- Expertise in Zero Trust, Enterprise VPN Solutions like zScaler or Perimeter 81
- Familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite
- Experience with Cloud Infrastructures like AWS, GCP, or Azure (preferred)
- Hands-on experience in endpoint automation solutions development with systems like Chef/Puppet, Terraform, etc.
- Strong knowledge of secure practices for Enterprise endpoint protection
- Enthusiasm for scalable and reproducible security practices and automation
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise judgment, and influence stakeholders
- Familiarity with financial services or financial technology is advantageous
- Advanced degree in computer science or related fields (strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of standards like ISO 27001/27002 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework is desirable
- 12+ years of experience in security or Endpoint security engineering with a focus on cybersecurity; 5+ years managing teams
- Understanding of application security standards, tools, and practices is a plus
