About the Role

The Solution Architect for Capital Markets at Chainlink Labs plays a key role in driving the adoption of Chainlink products within the capital markets sector. This position involves working closely with Sales and Marketing teams to promote Chainlink technology, collaborating with major institutions to gather requirements and deliver innovative solutions, and contributing significantly to the development of Chainlink's capital markets product strategy. The Solution Architect utilizes deep expertise in the Chainlink product suite and technical pre/post-sales experience to establish relationships with stakeholders, deliver client projects/proofs of concept, and position Chainlink as the preferred choice for decentralized oracle solutions in the finance industry.
Objectives of this Role
Drive the successful adoption of Chainlink products within the capital markets industry by building strong relationships with key stakeholders, especially major financial institutions, and providing technical expertise throughout the sales and implementation processes.

Lead the process of gathering requirements, scoping projects, and designing innovative solutions that utilize Chainlink products to address specific challenges within the capital markets industry.

Make a significant contribution to delivering at least three client projects/proofs of concept (POCs).

Contribute significantly to the development of Chainlink's capital markets product strategy by offering insights, market feedback, and technical expertise to shape the product suite's direction and roadmap

Collaborate closely with internal technical teams to provide guidance on product enhancements, bug fixes, and new feature development to meet capital markets requirements effectively.

Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the capital markets industry to effectively position and promote Chainlink products.
Qualifications
Experience in technical pre/post-sales technology, working with major institutions in the capital markets and broader financial industry.

Strong knowledge of blockchain technology and related areas such as DeFi, digital assets/tokenization, and digital identity, along with hands-on experience in middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services technologies, and APIs.

Demonstrated ability in building and delivering Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and addressing functional and technical aspects of proposals independently.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting to diverse audiences.

Experience with programming languages like Solidity, Golang, Rust, JS, Java, Python, C/C++.

About the Role

The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on test results for all products developed within Product Engineering. About the Role

As a senior software engineer working on Chainlink, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with our CTO, CEO, and a team of experienced technical experts in distributed systems computing and security. Together, we are dedicated to building decentralized infrastructure that can truly change the world. In this role, you will develop and build highly scalable, secure, and reliable software that will revolutionize the functionality of smart contracts. Your Impact

Design and implement new features within our product, such as trust minimized off-chain computation, cryptocurrency staking, aggregation of external data in various blockchain environments, and more.

Think creatively about potential attack vectors, failure scenarios, and disaster scenarios, model them in reproducible test environments, and develop solutions.

Design and develop recovery behaviors within our core node software.

Manage the architectural vision for new subsystems in the core Chainlink node.

Implement resilient distributed systems to achieve high reliability in different blockchain environments.

Requirements

5+ years of professional software development experience.

B.S. or higher degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience with test-driven development and usage of testing frameworks.

Proficiency in developing complex web applications/services and backend APIs.

Knowledge of systems design concepts.

Experience with distributed systems and/or container orchestration.

Strong communication skills, specifically in giving and receiving constructive feedback within a collaborative environment.

About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting test results for all products developed by our Product Engineering team. You will work independently, providing timely updates to your manager, and contribute to the development of processes and procedures for product development. Additionally, you will work closely with product teams to align testing strategies and submit comprehensive defects using our bug tracking system.

Your Impact

Take ownership of the testing strategy for existing and new products

Develop detailed and structured test plans and test cases

Conduct various types of testing, including functional, system, end-to-end, load testing, and more

Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities

Collaborate closely with product teams to ensure alignment

Document and track defects, verifying them as needed

Test software applications across multiple environments

Continuously analyze the testing strategy to maximize effectiveness

Assist in designing and maintaining quality system policies and procedures

Requirements

2+ years of proven work experience in Software Engineering, Test, Quality Assurance, or Deployment

BS degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or related field

Strong experience with modern programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Golang, etc.

Knowledge of open-source test frameworks like Playwright or Cypress

Familiarity with build automation technologies such as Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, etc.

Experience with AWS, Docker, or Terraform is a plus

Understanding of Agile-Scrum and other Agile methodologies

Familiarity with load testing tools

Excellent analytical skills for troubleshooting and peer review

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable shaping testing culture and promoting best practices
