Head of Content @ Pillar

As Pillar’s Head of Content, you will lead the end-to-end creation of high-performing and inspiring content. You will be responsible for the entire process - from the strategy creation, driving the narrative, managing in-house and external content creators to writing blogs, newsletters, and other kinds of communications. 
Our ideal candidate for this position will thrive in fast-paced environments and can transition seamlessly between the art and science of content marketing. We are a small team and as such, being able to strategise and execute on it is critical to this role.
Your Responsibilities
Drive narratives by syncing the content schedule, co-marketing campaigns, and influencer opportunities across the board
Write copy for newsletters, blog posts, external listings, and collateral
Own and manage website content
Create thought leadership campaigns around different accounts and leverage teammates in the content creation effort
Create and curate content for the in-app Pillar Stories
Capitalize on the newsjacking & RTM opportunities
Edit and curate external comms (blog posts, push notifications, help articles)
Liaise with agencies and journalists during PR campaigns
Manage the content studio and coordinate the video and graphic design production
Stay on top of the industry trends and obsessed with all things crypto
Our Requirements
Experience in producing and delivering content strategy and output
Data-driven and results-focused - leveraging all the relevant analytics platforms, experimenting with A/B testing, paid ads platforms, and segmented content campaigns
Experience in writing and editing regular newsletters, as well as newsletter platforms and tools
A track record in increasing traffic, awareness, and conversions through content marketing
Producing insight reports for the wider company, analysing your output with actionable insights that help us succeed
Work cross-functionally with other departments from the product, business, and marketing
Native or fluent English speaker
Experience in user acquisition funnels
Excellent communication skills - you'll know how to tell a captivating story and be a skilled writer.
Complete ownership and ability to act on feedback (and to provide it too!)
This role is location agnostic anywhere in the world, but we ask that you overlap some working hours with Central European Time (CET).

Your Responsibilities
Create, update and execute the social media strategy
Develop high-quality content, strategize multi-channel initiatives, and optimize the performance of Pillar's SM accounts.
Write tweets and plug Pillar into relevant conversations, capitalizing on Crypto Twitter discussions within our topic map
Lead comms on Facebook, YouTube, Telegram, Discord, Blockfolio Signal, Reddit, and other relevant channels
Capitalize on the newsjacking & RTM opportunities
Co-create original content for our channels with video & graphic designers
Manage an SM publication calendar and align it with the general marketing schedule including influencer, PR, and partner campaigns
Keep the internal channels and external listings updated

Your Responsibilities
Define Growth Marketing for Pillar 
Create the strategy and own the execution across the paid marketing campaigns including Paid Social, SEM, Display, Influencer Marketing, Guerilla Marketing, PR, and sponsorships to gain new customers. 
Ensure these campaigns achieve growth objectives across the entire funnel and multiple Pillar products.
Partner with product, business teams, and agency partners to develop assets to improve user acquisition and retention
Compile regular reports of campaign performance and results.
Continuously optimize, A/B test new and existing campaigns based on analytics insight and customer feedback
Advise and guide on marketing budget allocation and execution to improve ROI
Convert marketing plans into measurable results against specific team and company KPIs.
