Established in 2018 by a dynamic team comprising CPAs, tax attorneys, and software developers, TaxBit is leading the charge in enabling compliant adoption of digital assets across the global economy. With its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, TaxBit simplifies and automates customers' tax reporting and accounting tasks relating to digital assets.
A trusted partner of prominent entities in the crypto, tech, and traditional sectors, top accounting firms, and governmental bodies such as the IRS, TaxBit addresses compliance hurdles on a large scale amidst the constantly evolving regulatory environment. Backed by prominent Silicon Valley venture capital firms, TaxBit operates through teams spread across various cities, including New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, Salt Lake City, and Washington, D.C.
In the position of TaxBit Public Sector Account Executive, you will be instrumental in propelling our future revenue growth by establishing relationships with potential Government institutions and converting them into valued TaxBit clients.
To excel in this role, we seek an accomplished solution-oriented sales professional with a solid history of successfully selling into intricate government setups and adeptly navigating complex procurement procedures. Public Sector Account Executives at TaxBit will cultivate and nurture relationships within government and law enforcement entities, advocating for TaxBit’s Public Sector Solutions persuasively. Ideally, applicants should possess extensive experience in crypto criminal investigations, anti-money laundering (AML) protocols, and law enforcement scenarios to complement our team’s robust tax and accounting background.

Comfortable with articulating value in competitive scenarios, you should revel in promoting products that entail a profound understanding of the domain and technological acumen. Prospecting and generating leads should energize you, and you should have the ability to independently lead the sales cycle from start to finish. Additionally, you should find joy in contributing to the enhancement of TaxBit’s sales process, defining our value proposition, and crafting vital tools and resources.
This role is tailor-made for a results-driven sales professional who thrives on cross-functional collaboration and relishes the challenges of securing deals in a burgeoning industry.

Identify key decision-makers within targeted accounts and ensure the solution design encompasses an end-to-end perspective; pave the way for future growth in related business domains post first sale
Demonstrate unwavering commitment to customer success from initial sales interaction through closure, securing a seamless handoff to Customer Success and Implementation teams with a documented deployment plan
Engage with Product and Engineering teams to contribute to product enhancement strategies
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales targeting Government Agencies (experience with tax revenue agencies/IRS highly preferred)
