It creates a global hacker movement in blockchain, quantum computing, and space tech, providing toolkits for developers worldwide to collaborate, fund their ideas, and participate in hackathons, bounties, grants, and developer games.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain backend APIs.

As a Junior Full Stack Engineer specializing in AI, you will be responsible for developing scalable systems by seamlessly integrating advanced AI models and technologies into our platform. Your tasks will range from creating robust backend systems to optimizing and implementing AI models such as Llama and neural networks.

This role requires you to merge traditional backend engineering with cutting-edge AI techniques in order to enhance our product offerings significantly. In addition to AI application layer integration, you will also handle general backend development responsibilities.

This position is initially remote, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid work model in California soon.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development: Develop scalable and reliable backend systems, APIs, and services.

AI Integration: Integrate, fine-tune, and deploy AI models like Llama into our application layer for smooth platform integration.

Model Fine-tuning: Fine-tune pre-trained AI models, evaluate their performance, and optimize them for production.

AI Application Development: Deploy AI-powered features and applications focusing on neural networks and advanced AI techniques.

System Optimization: Monitor, test, and optimize AI applications and backend systems for performance and scalability.

Stay Current: Stay updated on AI, machine learning concepts, neural networks, and related technologies for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

1-2 years of experience in full-stack or backend software engineering.

Proven track record in applying AI technologies, especially neural networks, and experience with model fine-tuning.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, and Go.

Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, including neural networks, deep learning, and model training.

Hands-on experience with Llama or similar transformer-based models and fine-tuning techniques.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for AI model deployment.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 per year
