Rivwake is an ambitious early-stage Web3 metaverse project built on Unreal Engine 5.
We are creating Overworld — an immersive metaverse with a strong focus on User Generated Content (UGC). Players will be able to play, create worlds, games, and assets.
The first game is Strifest — a competitive team-based arena shooter with building mechanics.
The project combines high-quality UE5 gameplay with real blockchain economy: NFT rewards, staking, tokens, and creator economy.
Who We Are Looking For (Two Main Roles):
1. Web3 Game Developer (Primary Role)
Web3 integration into UE5 (wallet connect, NFT minting/claiming, staking)
Smart contract development (Solidity)
Backend flow between the game and blockchain
P2E mechanics and token economy
2. Web3 Game QA Tester / Blockchain Tester
Testing NFT rewards, staking, and claiming mechanics
Testing Web3 integrations (wallets, transactions, on-chain events)
Finding and reporting blockchain-related bugs
Regression testing after updates
Testing economy and anti-exploit systems
Requirements:
For Developer:
Strong experience with Solidity and Smart Contracts
Web3 integration (wallets, NFT, staking)
Unreal Engine 5 experience is a big plus
For Tester:
Experience in Game QA or Web3/P2E testing
Good knowledge of blockchain and NFT mechanics
Ability to write detailed bug reports
Basic understanding of UE5 is a plus
General Conditions (for both roles):
Long-term collaboration (starting from 2-3 months)
30–40 hours per week
Fully remote
Rate: $55 – 85 / hour (depending on role and experience)
We are at an early alpha stage. We provide test access to the project and documentation. There is a possibility of equity / token allocation for strong candidates who stay with the project long-term.
