About me
I got my first computer when I was 11, and got interested in programming when I was 12. I coded small applications for myself with Visual C++ and Visual Basic 5. When .NET was released, I switched to C#. I have studied engineering and have coded ANN models and metaheuristic optimization algorithms in MATLAB. I live in Iran, and have worked as an engineer for 6 years whilst doing freelance work mainly implementing metaheuristic optimization algorithms for graduate students. In late 2019 I switched to web development as my main profession. I love research and have published 4 peer-reviewed papers (https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=EY8tooQAAAAJ), and have reviewed 2 papers for publication. I would love to get a remote development job in US with the possibility of relocating there.

The Sazan Consulting company had developed an earthquake hazard risk assessment (maximum ground acceleration needed for earthquake load calculation) application running on Windows and developed in MATLAB. They needed to offer their services via the web. I exposed the business logic as a WebAPI service (with few minor modifications in MATLAB) and used ASP.NET Core for the backend. Sazan also wanted to offer the service for a specific geological location and since the calculation was CPU-intensive, the challenge was load distribution. Since for the first version we did not anticipate heavy traffic, we only queued the client requests and cached previous calculation results.
