We are looking for an experienced, creative, and self-motivated Python Developer with expertise in Django back-end development to join our team as a contractor. As part of our team, you will work on developing and maintaining a Django-based RESTful API and admin panel for our AI-driven projects.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain the back-end components of our Django-based RESTful API and admin panel.
Implement efficient and secure API endpoints following RESTful principles.
Design and manage database models for seamless data integration and efficient querying.
Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for API endpoints.
Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Optimize API performance and scalability to handle large volumes of data and concurrent requests.
Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to integrate AI functionalities into the API.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in back-end development using the Django framework.
Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
In-depth understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
Experience with Django REST framework.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for effective collaboration with front-end developers.
Knowledge of database management systems, particularly PostgreSQL or MySQL, and ability to design efficient database schemas.
Proficient in using version control systems, such as Git, for collaborative development.
Experience with deploying Django applications on cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker for efficient deployment and scaling.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools to streamline the development and deployment processes.
Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts to facilitate integration with AI functionalities.
Experience with implementing AI-related functionalities in Django applications.

Contract Details:

This is a contractor position for a specified project duration. The contract duration and terms will be negotiated based on the project requirements. The contractor will have the flexibility to work remotely.
