Aguiar

My name is Maximillian Aguiar and I am a writer, filmmaker and video editor currently working on multimedia video installations, feature films and documentaries in Denver Colorado. I attended Western State Colorado University (WSCU) and received a B.A. in Communications and Theatre with an emphasis in Film Studies. I have directed, edited and co-written two feature films “The Doors Between Us” and “VENEER”. As of January 2021 “The Doors Between Us" has been selected to 33 film festivals in 13 different countries where it has garnered 10 awards including "Best Indie Film" "Best Comedy Feature" and "Best Underground/Exploitation Film”. VENEER which was released December 2020 is currently in competition at 10 festivals. I am always interested in doing freelance writing, shooting and editing work for open minded, progressive organizations with large and creative visions for their brand or product.
