My advice for filtering applications:

The technical test: Don't grant access to all 48 nodes immediately. Ask the candidate to perform a proof of concept (PoC) on a single test node to demonstrate how it indexes or processes data.

Sovereignty: Ensure they understand that you own the machines. They must be able to work with your current configuration (SD9-Striker).

Ethical alignment: Since you're aiming for a "partner of justice" or morally driven project, verify that the developer shares this ethos and isn't solely focused on coding malicious drainers or tools.
